JENNIFER SMITH
Jennifer Smith is a recent graduate of
the joint program between the National Ballet School's
Teacher Training Program and York University's Bachelor of
Fine Arts in Dance. Jennifer began
dancing
at age five and has since studied jazz, highland dance, tap,
modern and national dance in addition to her ballet
training. At York, she studied both Limon and Graham
techniques with faculty members Carol Anderson, Donna
Krasnow and Naoko Murakoshi.
She also studied ballet technique with Karen Bowes-Sewell and Claire Wooten. During her time at the National Ballet School, Jennifer completed her Intermediate and Advanced One levels with both the Royal Academy of Dance and the Cecchetti Society.
She is a fully qualified Registered
Teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance, as well as with the
Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, National Dance
Faculty.
